Rundu trip advice

Hi guys

On my way to the Rundu area in December. Want to try my hand at tiger fishing. I've been dropshot angling for some time now and I believe that this form of angling is good for tigers? I've got a 9ft xxxh rod and small shimano with 30 lb braid. This sounds a bit heavy for tigers? Any advice will be appreciated. Areas to try, lures i can't leave behind, setup etc. Thanks guys

Haven't fished that region over December, but regarding lures you need to go with Meps, FZ's and Rapala's. Shopping for these, is part of the fun.

30P braid, I think slightly on the heavy side, but ok.

there are very good threads on Sealine for tiger fishing. spend some time reading through them.

Thanks KARLR

Got some more info on the threads. Will stick with the Effzett copper spoons some spinner baits and rapalas.

Koper, dit bly maar die mooiste sunsets.

nou moet ek weer hardloop en paddletails gaan koop, dit is nou wel vir Kariba, maar behoort te werk. nooit genoeg gereedskap nie.
