Hi Guys.
Fishing Rosslee on Saturday was absolutely enormous. Three Fishermen (father in law, brother in law and me) arrived 6.00am on Saturday. Lines in at 7.00 and it was all systems go from the time the first line hit the water. No big fish were landed. All ranging between 100g and 2kg. Average wait time for a bite was roughly 2 to 3 minutes sometimes even quicker. we packed up at 16.00. Father in law bagged 26 fish for the day, brother in law 22 and myself 18. A total of 66 fish landed in a 9 hour session. We lost a about 25 fish between the three of us due to some vegitation in the water. The score would have been close to 90 fish in total if we managed to land these guys as well, but I'm not complaining. Still sore from the sunburn (32 degrees Celcius) and muscle aches from the fish giving us the workout of our lives. This was my chance to bid freshwater fishing farewell in a big way until I return to Gauteng / Freestate on holiday. Lookout ocean here comes A D
