Roodeplaat Dam

Hi Guy's I am off to Roodeplaat dam this weeknd and wondering who has been there in the last couple of weeks?

It will be my first time there so i dont know what to expect.
 
How is the hyacinths problem?

Plus any tips for catching carp and barbel?

I will be doing the bass thing as well but only from the side.

Hi Timjan was there 2 weeks ago at hengelaars vriend, the hisinta has been spryd with a cemical poisen, so the hisinta is not a problem for now. The water dose smell bad and has a ugly green colour to it becuase of the roting of the hisinta at the botem of the dam.

I managed to catch a few fish on Bloekom olie and Tjop Tjop. The fish seem to be healthy even thou thy are a bit pale.
