No experience with those two.
I do have 2 Oval DC 12'6 custom built for surf fishing(1-4 Ounce), this is a Carp blank.
As well as a 10'6 Oval DC surf spinning rod.
They are awesome for what they where built for.
Although they are Sensation Oval DC blanks I don't think it is the same blank as the DC lite Oval you mention.
Enigma will be the man who can answer that for you, he builds lots of custom rods and helped develop the Oval DC's as far as I know.

Short Range is a really good rod but for short range and or river fishing the Finesse Carp is better
The short range 10 and 11 are among the best medium action rods for Shore Game spinning on the market at the moment
The DC Lite is definitely the flagship of their range of rods. It is amongst the thinnest and lightest of blanks on the market and casts from a M00 - PF. Fitted with Fuji reel seat and Fuji LCOG guides.
There are currently no 12' in stock and they are only getting 10' and 13' DC lite's into stock next week and the 12' earliest Feb 2016. So if you're considering the 12' DC lite and can get them, buy them now.
The Genesis is an entry level reel, something in a similar price class in the Okuma range would be more interesting to me but if you take the money out for the DC lite then rather bite the bullet and get Shimano XTR - RB baitrunners. Putting a Gennesis on a DC lite is like putting retreads on a Lamborghini
