Rod holders fo kayak/SUP

Hi,

I have two brackets to fit rod holders on my sup and want to get some feedback on the different types.

The scotty ones which lock seem the best but are quite pricey, there are some similar rod holders but not sure how strong/ flimsy they are. I have fished of boats where these things keep flapping down under a bit of tension, or the lock mechanisms don't work properly.

Any suggestions on brands or places to buy them?

I don't need top en spec rod holders, just ones that can hold light rods, maybe slow trolling for garrick or kob in lagoons.

There is also Railblaza, never used any of it, but people generally speak very highly of it, price unfortunately also very highly

fishing off a sup, you gonna need some sort of crate/box to carry gear, maybe bolt/glue dia.40mm pvc pipe (length to suit rod butt) to the crate. probably not nice looking but should work just fine

It’s a sup kayak hybrid, will put some pics on later. I will have crate behind my chair with pvc rod holders, this is for the front when I’m drift fishing.
