Hi Guys im looking for a rod for light surf fishing. I want to pair it with a Daiwas sl30sh and casting braid. I want to fish for eds like steenbras, kob, etc off the sand and sometimes bricks.
I saw a Daiwa Saltiga hmg 3-5oz rod in a shop that I fell in love with. It was extremely light and just seemed perfect for my application. it is 14 foot. Price R3000. Can anybody tell me what blank this is and if there is any rod thats made from the same blank but less expensive. It very thin compared to any of the other HMG 3 - 5 oz hmg's.
Any other recommendations?
