Rod and reel...

Gents, I have a TFO (Temple Fork Outfitters) TiCr2 S864MH 9ft Dropshot rod with a Shimano SUPER 4000 GT-RB reel. Very nice combo, casting wise. I still have to land something on it though. Being out in Muizenberg does not help the cause, with our lack of species.

My questions are: does anyone know this make of rod, has anyone seen this rod in action??

I have the 4 piece TF medium heavy 8'6" rod and love it - with a exceller 3000 reel and some 8 bl fireline - cast miles and have enough backbone to fight a decent fish .

As you say, it casts miles. Very nice setup. Just need to land something decent on it. What have you pulled out on yours??

assortment of smaller species, blacktail, moonies, etc... , and a nice bronze bream of 32 odd cm ..... and some shad.
