Yeah boet you see I have a guy selling 3 I can get @ R3500 each and they've been used twice for carping.

I thought they were valued R4000 and thought I could try knock the price down a bit...

I have offered the bloke R7000 for 3 so let's see... All he can say is no..

Chris if you can get them at that price that is a bargain of note, the only draw back on the 6000 were their retrieve ratio is slow, lot of guy's bought the 4500 and put the 6000 spool on it as the 4500 had a faster retrieve ratio

Chris, from what i can see the Saltiga surf retrieves 28inches per turn compared to ur current reels which are about 40inches per turn. http://daiwa.com/Reel/

Thanks mate. Funnily enough after doing some comparing this morning i also came across those stats...

Too slow for me to be honest. I prefer minimum of 1metre retrieve for one full turn of the handle.

For your other basic equipment like luggage, bags, boxes, nets, mats, bivvys, pods, alarms, sleeping bags ect you can look at Fox products, more expensive but better quality then the average.
