This rod any good??? can get one for a good price ,want it for a scratching set up 4-6oz tip

I had one, not bad but prefer the 110h. Is it worth double the price? Jury still out on that one....

Hi Mouldie,

I have had mine for about a year now and can only recommend it.

6 oz plus bait you might find a bit cumbersome on it though, I seldom go over 4 oz and one still gets enough distance for scratching.

And it is a versatile stick in that I even use mine sometimes in estuaries if I want to send the bait some distance onto a flat or into a hole...

I reckon it is good value for money, which is not always the biggest thing though. Point is, I would say it is a decent stick, even if I had no idea what the purchase price is.

Got a med tip that says 4-6 oz but I will not use more than 4 oz with my shimi 15/30.I do have a 12ft waverunner but thought this stick will give me some fun with the smaller species

I got a 12ft surfmaster an amazing blank casts a mile i don't think are very good mine did not last well
