Rod Advice For Namibia

Hi all. I am going on a trip to Terrace Bay, and need a rod that I can easily take on the plane (multiple pieces, sections not longer than 2m). All my rods are one piecers. Any suggestions on what to get?


Something that won’t break the bank and is suited for the rock/shore fishing on the Namibian coast, for bait casting.

I have a shimano TR 200-G to pair with it, otherwise some older #49 Penn reels.

Any advice appreciated.

i just bought myself a Shimano exage stc, in my opinion a decent allround travelrod for a decent price.
note: i have not fished it yet, it's maidenrun wil be in february when i wil be travelling trough south africa
