Hi Bro! :fishn
I have fished there for many years but i must make you aware of the fact it is a dangerous place at dusk and in the evenings.
the North Pier is excellent for day angling and the Garrick, Greys, Hammerheads and many other Bream species can be caught there if the conditions are good ( Be careful of freak waves while you are on the bricks though)
the Drive on pier is also excellant as you have your vehicle next to you hence take the braai stand with and some deck chairs and have a blast with the family there, good catches as well as the odd diamond or sometimes Honeycomb Rays.
Navel island is also great fun, park your vehicle on the grass have the family around you and fish your day away. Greys, Diamonds and many other species frequent the area.
Have a jol Boet but remember, safety first and pack it up at around five pm ( if your are not in a big group)
