Fishing been good, snoek, dagga ,couta  being caught,it all depends on the weather i would say.

One day you clap the fish the next is dead quite, but in general if the weather is good you will not be sorry!

Thanks guys, I had a look on Windguru and the weather report looks good. Frikster , I would love to get into a couple of snoek and couta...what would the best spots be to target them in your opinion.
@Dirty Harry...I'll definitively give a full report when I'm back with (hopefully) pics of lots of fish!

Hi Werries

Snoek in front of Groenkop (which is north) in 20m waters, the guys have been picking up some Cudas of 20kgs there when slow trolling for snoek, the bonnies also around there. I have been at Patingo (which is south) on Saturday and it was dead no Cuda.

Some Shad in the port along with some cob were cought the last weekend as the club had a light tackle comp.- Lots of Sharks cought in the port.

Cheers

Thanks Captain...snoek is actually way up there on my species list to target first-off.

I'm on this quest to get my 100th edible saltwater specie !

I'm currently on 97 so I must get a snoek and 2 other species to fullfill my quest.

Then Groenkop is where you will have to be and no where else go north out of the harbour up to the 3rd radio mast and fish 15 to 20m of depth in front of it!!!!.......let me know the result.

I`ll be there from the 7th to the 12th of july fishing the 21 Specie comp.
