Greetings Sahara!
I have a 2006 Seadoo GTI 130 4-tec with 165 hours on clock of which I have put on 100 hrs,without a hic up.IMHO Seadoo are the leaders in JS tech.That motor is awesome,as is the closed loop cooling system which means that the engine does not ingest ambient water but has proper coolant in it just like your car,so no internal corrosion!Heat exchange occurs through a metal plate in the water which is always kept cool!
For ocean use the Gti 155 will have more power than you can use!Normally aspirated is ample and a lot less to go wrong(ie:no superchargers or turbos!)
