as for ruler and I, well we didnt bring the skis along for nothing..the surf looked flat in the morning so we took the skis down..suprisingly,the surf had grown from the morning, lol. I was to follow rulers lead but he took off like a bullet..i caught a bad wave and before i knew it, i was in the water, ski upside down..so start again..an unknown by stander helped me this time(a big thank you to him) and when i had a break, i was clear..we trawled with clark spoons but had no hook ups, although i did have a brief run...we paddled some distance before stopping. We then bottom fished a bit. Ruler hooked a decent rocod but lost it. we both caught a few slingers and just when things were looking up, the wind picked up and before we knew it, we had drifted to qwanyan bay! Ruler wisely suggested that we head back and so the trek began, wind in our face. After a while, i decided that enough was enough and so i convinced ruler to get out at the nearest bay, shad bay. the surf was huge so we decided to come out just to the left, only to find that there were rocks all aound! we skillfully(i mean luckily)avoided the rocks and were back on land! What a relief..we hired some guys to carry the skis back to the cottage..phew, that was an eventful day to say the least...
