Guys anything can be made with time and patience even your own fishing reel.Here are some pics of the incomplete item. Will post pics of the completed reel once I have had the spool anodized.

What size are they?

Nice for bottoms fishing. :fishn

Just one change I would make do away with the bearings and use brass bushings

Size 90mm Diameter just the thing for the small one's.The big one is 155mm Diameter just the thing for bottom's and kite fishing.

how do you do that isnt it hard to machine a piece of solid aluminium ?can you please do a little explaination on how you made your reel, please this is special I think if everyone does this they can all save money on buying reels. I have got my own lathe at home and did all the turning my self as iI am a fitter and turner by trade it was not hard at all to turn the spool and abor shafts on the lathe.
