Red Tide or not...?

I'm in Stilbaai (South Coast) and I'm thinking about picking some black mussels off the rocks...

How do I know whether it's currently Red Tide or not?

red tide is a major ecological event bud it'll probably be in the news not sure what you have been told about picking mussels but red tide should be the last of your worries.
