Recommendation needed: Deep Sea Charter on the South Coast

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a good deep sea charter on the South Coast ? We have a boys trip planned in August and will be in Margate, but don't mind driving.

I have had some bad experiences with charters on the South Coast. The reality is that this is business and they don't want to use fuel and fish the shallows etc. I used to fish often with a great skipper from Rocky Bay, but he no longer charters.

I would appreciate any good recommendations. We are 5 guys and don't mind driving up to port edward.

Not sure if you have come right yet. I would recommend you rather take a drive down to shelly beach and get on one of the Must Byte Boats or Barry from the Tackle Box (fishing shop in shelly that does pvt charters). They run out to protea. Better chance of getting something there.
