Recipe for ground feed

howzit guys.

I am going fishing at albert falls in the next couplke of weeks. Can anyone recommend a recipe for ground feed. I am tired of paying for the premade ones.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

PLAIN FINE MIELIE BOMB

INGREDIANTS: 1kg chic chic no 1
7 cups warm water
½ teaspoon tartrazine powder
METHOD: pour water in plastic container and mix in the tartrazine stir until dissolved, add chic chic and mix well. Cook in microwave for 15 min. when cooked place in container / bucket and seal

Excuse my ignorance but what is chic chic no1 and where would I buy it?

It is chicken feed, consist of crushed mielies,barley, sogum ect. most supermarkets sell it ,

you will find it on the shelf with the pet foods.
