I'm at that stage where I would like to experience more of the different 'types' of angling where I can.
Could anyone tell me where (if there is) one can target rays in the Strand/Gordonsbay area? Also any tips for example on rigs etc to use would be appreciated.
Got a couple Blue Rays last night at Melk Baai (Strand) and not so long ago an eagle ray (Or Duckbill). Got them on chokka but know soft baits work well and they do like fresh mullet.
Korps, for blue rays you don't have to slide as this is not a very big specie. The love a muchy bait (pilchard or mullet flaped) I target them on the sandbanks and if I know there are other species also in the water I cast on the rise of the sandbank.
