the barometric pressure is doing  funny things.. ahead of the front passing the south.. you might struggle.. when the moon starts growing things will pick up again..

But as they say you never know..

when moons rises... look north .. lick one finger and test wind .. put other finger in ear.. if that does not work .. just change fingers...

Fixed...
I actually meant you should teach us about reading barometers and what the influence of the moon has on where you will find the fish etc... Now you talk about stinky fingers in the wind...eina!!! lol!!!

LOL .. I thought you were taking the pis...

So as I was saying in my previous post.. you can now see the effects of the front that just hit us.. after such a front you normally have two to 3 days of bad feeshing.. (sorri guys..) but it will turn by wednesday and be great next weekend... on DSTV they have the atmospheric pressures. but i see they have now taken it off. so I am now forced to switch off DSTV and get a 3.5K watch.. as i have no use for it anymore..

Guys you may think i am full  of crap but this is a proven science..

Like most of the fisherman i also belived in many old fisherman tales ... but having science on your side does help...

Fanks..

Like a pushing tide is better at sea... same goes for fresh feeesh... the moon .. like at sea has an affect on the tides and barometric pressure.. along with altitude and mositure in air(humidity)...
So in short my best fishing times are when the moon is growing.. and when barometric pressure has steadily grown for a few days.. and this normally is ahead of a high pressure front... these are the L's and H's on the weathermand chart on TV..
If i am wrong with these items then I welcome any insights that will help.. I am only learning myself... ;-)

When the pressure drops there is a front/storm on the way and the fieshies go of the bite, when the pressure goes up so does your policeman.....

Hi All

Fish has a swim bladder, when the pressure rise the fish get uncomfortable with the added pressure on the bladder (like to much beer) and rise to the top to try ad relieve pressure (like taking a p!ss) the when the pressure drops the fish again get uncomfortable and dives down deep to add pressure and so it goes back and forward....
