Quick Dry shirts

We are fishing a comp in March in Moz and I've been assigned the great task to organise the shirts for the crew for the 5 days that we are there.

Now I know there are a few cheaper shirts out there but some of them cling to you as soon as you get wet and some of them don't "breath" (not good for hot and humid weather).

Are there any "brands" that you guys can recommend that you prefer. We are not label junkies so the name doesn't matter. I just don't want to feel like a warm, vacuumed packed piece of steak at 12:00.

Your input will be highly appreciated.

Sealine short sleeve shirts should be ok  or wear the rash vests that surfers use also good + uv protection.

We are not the thinnest of guys, so I don't think the rash vest is going to work. I am considering the sealine shirt. Will just have to get the rest of the guys to join, most of them not big on the inter net.

Besides the sealine shirts?

I am not the thinnest of guys either and I swear by my rash shirt. Just wear a baggy T over it and you dont look like such a plonker or a pregnant bally dancer. The decent quick dry shirts run about R700 so they are quite pricey.

other option is look at shirts cyclists use.. not to tight and i think they cater for bigger sizes + they quick dry material and have handy storage pockets at the back, for cellphone /camera etc, maybe get plainwhite and see if someone can do names on them or something..

Columbia PFG (Performance Fishing Gear) gear is about the best I've used.... come in big sizes, and are a loose fit anyway... Fantastic top quality gear...

ANother great option, which I find cooler actually, and having tested this properly on the Orange river this past week, is any Airwick/Aquatek longsleeve shirt... there are numerous companies that use this stuff, similar to the cycling stuff Mike mentioned... Nike I think uses it too...
I use the Pelagic ones: http://www.pelagicgear.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=49

These are great options when you are going to be getting in and out the water for any reason, getting wet alot etc, but they don't offer anywhere near as much sun protection as a coloured shirt dows, so you need a Buff or Bandana to go with them...
They also don't have pockets etc which the Coloumbia or Sealine type shirts do, which are lekker to keep your smokes or whatever else in etc...

We carry JigStar Africa Emroided Columbia PFG shirts, but could probably help you out with getting anything embroided on them if you need.

I am with Neptune,
The Columbia gear (Shirt and pants) are excellent! They are a bit on the pricey side, but true quality.

The sizes of the columbia shirts are bigger, if you normally wear a XXL, you should try out the XL. Al my columbia's are one size smaller than normal!

Have not had the pleasure of trying out my Sealine shirt, but I finally managed to get mine from the post office yesterday!

Columbia is the best I have used...

Pity they are so expensive here in SA.

Should have stocked up on the R200 shirts and pants while I was still in Dubai...

R450 + is out of my league...

Hey bud,
I had my shirts made for me and my crew. They cost me about R300 each including the embroidery etc. They are quick dry with the vented backs and velcro on the pocket. Also had the caps made.. about R50 each.

I can sent the aunties details to you if you are interested.
