Purglas Carp rods

I will give a answer solong.I have been looking at the specimen and general carp fishing for a while and I want to get geared up for that. I have been to many shopes and looked at many rods but have not find anything that I could say was exactly what I wanted (I am in Lichtenburg so there are also not that wide range of products to choose from).But I have been in shops in various places and when I found these Purglas rods - these things are in a different class. They price R970 for a 9" and R1140 for a 10" - I do not know if this is the going rate as it is the first time I see them.It seems they only come in one piece, which may not appeal to some people.

I Paid R 900.00 (these are custom rods) each at anglers den edenvale (Enver Latib) this was about 2 years ago so im not sure what the prices are now but maybe give them a call also i must mention that there are diffrent grades of purglass graphite so im sure the freshwater purglass blanks are not as stiff as the 400/0 or 400/1(surf blanks) therefore the prices will differ and also try Ghanis in Witbank before i forget there is also a place in boksburg that does custom rods the guys name is Johan Keet Also very good finish etc so my sugestion is maybe shop around.
