Presentation of soft plastics

Hi guys I am quite sure that I have posted a thread about similar stuff before but I still don't really have a solid answer yet.

I haven't had much luck with plastics, caught a fish here and there but it's not something I cast as a first resort. I was wondering is there a tried and tested way to give soft plastics better presentation when fishing for grunter with worms / prawn imitations and going for Garrick and Kob with paddle tails.

Still not sure on how one should even fish a paddle tail correctly. Does one just reel it in?

I was thinking something along these lines, does anyone in PE sell weighted hooks of any kind.

Thanks in advance any related information will be greatly appreciated! ::tight:
