Poseidon Stimulator Mid Section needed

FLUKE

A friend of mine leaned his favourite Blue fish rod against the back of a bakkie and his buddy proceeded to slam the tailgate closed on it:fbash I'm not the buddy!!

The Stimulator has been discontinued so I offered to help out and see if someone on Sealine had a Mid Section he could buy.

Hi Pylstert,

Yes it looks identical. Is this one still available?

If no mid section is available he might take that one but irrespective I will let him know you have one in mint condition if it's still available.

Fluke if we can get the rod for cheap and safely in Pretoria I may be interested in the other sections ?

I'll keep in touch. Getting it there shouldn't be a problem.

Hi Fluke just to let you know . If I had no bad luck I would not have had any luck ever !!!

Still trying to get the rod from the post office . It got stuck at their "Tshwane hub " on 5 March 2012 and in spite of many queries to what ever number I could find. No joy yet .

Have just spoken to their complaints department this morning. Again received promise from person that will see what is the delay .

Its just my luck that is some parcel get misplaced . It will be mine . The S A Postal service sucks !!!! Hope some one working there read this post ???

I have lost a parcel from USA back in 2009 and in spite of a claim submitted . No reply to this day from SAPO . My local Post Master also just don't care and have not done anything to follow up the problems .

An update

The rod is still missing and the wonderful S A Post Office is still unable to tell me. How such a large parcel, with a tracking number ,can disappear into thin air !!!

Their ads is not real "We deliver what ever it takes"

When I complained to the "asasa.org.za" this is their viewpoint on the Post Office ad :
"We have assessed your complaint and are of a view that we cannot assist in this matter.

Clearly the motto "We deliver, whatever it takes" is a mission statement, or
slogan, and not a substantiable claim of efficacy. This can be likened to
FNB's "How can we help you" statement, or even Toyota's "Everything keeps
going right". We are satisfied that people would not interpret this in a
literal manner, and that one or even many incorrect deliveries does not
materially change this interpretation. I'm sure you will agree that Toyota
should not stop using their famous payoff line simply because a few people have had major issues with their car?

In light of this, we will not be asking the SA Post Office to remove this slogan from their advertising at this time.

Although I can appreciate your frustration, I hope that the above explains the reason for our decision.

Kind regards, and thank you for your interest in the ASA."
