Does the braai just sits loosely on top of the cooker plate?

Can you give the dimensions pls, and also does it spread the heat through out the braai or just in the middle part where the flames are? Do you assemble the braai yourself?

[coldfront]

they are pretty easy to assemble, but i can do it for you .size is 260mm by 260mm square and yes there are brackets that rest in the cooker top
