plettenberg bay

I am in plett for the next two weeks and would appreciate in info on where to fish. Fished at nature's valley tonight and only caught a small sand shark. some one said the water is really cold and that is why the fishing is not great? Is that true or am I just unlucky? where can you then have more success?

any advice would be great
