Please check it out..

A certain Big Bite Baits fluke has been my secret weapon for the bass for the last 2 years but lets be honest mate, you should get your sponsor ( Or whatever the relationship is between you and outdoors 365) to sign up as an advertiser here and then you can plug away to your heart's content, I'm sure the admins are just tired of pointing out the etiquette to you. Someone has to pay the server bills and someone has to pay the people who run this place for their time invested, nevermind those that started it, otherwise this meeting place, library and market place would just not exist.

"If you're gonna listen to the music, sometimes you have to pay the band." That is just how it goes. It may be free for me and you to be a member here and partake and all, but we have to show a bit of respect for the place and those that are "paying the band".

No offence intended here mate, there is just a right way to do things and a wrong way..I see the way you punt connected commercial entities here and if I were an admin I'd be a little irritated as they too have sponsors to keep happy.

But also shot for the bass write-ups, enjoyed the last one and much better posting the text rather than just a link. If you generate enough interest here and have enough following your reports and tips, even a small link in your profile will get hit without you having to shout it out with no content in a thread. Generate the content here rather or at least copy it in full here(your content from your site be it reports or gear for sale etc.) always so that you add value here as well as to yourself and "help pay the band" by creating hits for sealine and keeping their sponsors happy too.

Generating exposure for yourself and the brands you represent, including your site, facebook, stores and brands, need not be exclusive of generating exposure for sealine. There is a middle ground, in best case signing your guys up here and in worse case generating content here and having a signature or profile reference that interested parties can follow, that keeps the bosses here happy or achieves what you want.

Lekker boet, if you want to generate traffic for yourself from here there is nothing wrong with that. Just do it in a way that is mutually beneficial in some way between you and the site. Generate traffic for the site, and interest in you, through your content here too and just have links to your affiliated sites/pages/brands to allow interested parties to find out more or explore more and benefit from that rather than just try redirect the traffic directly somewhere else that benefits you with nothing added here to justify. It is just a courtesy bro, look at Enigma (CDS angling, awa-shima, africast custom rods etc..), Benniejordaan ( Squid 360), aquadementia (fishweights.co.za) and Capt.Hook (Blue water charters) and see how they do it.. They are all great contributors here and yet they all generate interest for their own brands here. All done in good taste, in these guys' case, we are lucky for their input. No offence intended here at all mate, just trying to help from the sideline. Or just get your connections to help pay the bills as mentioned and you can plug away..
