I agree! Off the beach... fine but on a boat they take a beating!

Sorry, just to re-iterate on that!

On the beach consider the angle of the rod when fighting a fish. On a boat you are often bending the rod 90 degrees, fighting a fish straight down under you.

I own both of these ^^ they are amazing quality rods.. and the best part is (and i know from experience you can check in my previous posts) if you do manage to break one of these rods the supplier will replace it no questions asked.. I had this happen last year.. i snapped the tip off my air not from big fish but from being a chop haha
