Since nobody understands who can buy or sell platies i will have to get some the old fasioned way


Is there someone annyone in pretoria where i can buy platanas

hahaha good luck buddy. As far as i know its illegal to sell them. if caught you can be fined a MASSIVE amount of money.

And as far as kompeteive angling is concerned, it illegal to fish with them as wel....

Winter is a difficult time to get platties, most tackle shops will want you to come in before they sell to you, platties is full up in pretoria west.

Most LTB guys have them by the hundreds, i dont think it is illegal to sell them everywhere and you are allowed to use them as bait in certain provinces.... i think they want them to be dead before you use them though.
