Plasters around sinkers...

I've heard or read somewhere of guys putting a plaster around their sinkers and putting anchovy or some kind of oil on it as extra attractant... does this help and do you use it? cause if it works i'm gonna wrap a bandage around my sinkers and rub some guts into it. LOL! :-D

If you are not using a break-away sinker but a cone bottle or pyramid sinker in addition to the plaster attach a 3/0 or a treble hook of sim size to the sinker and a steenbras will definitely suprise you.We use seaweed stem instead of the plaster

china you get flat fish chowing those leads lol , i have heard of bronzies chowing normal lead so i really dont know what will happen if you try that lol

I sometimes take a tampon and cut it in 5mm strips. Let it soak in anchovy oil for 30 minutes and then tie it to the hook, then cover it with a well tenderised tjokka !!:fishn

I want to try something, maybe someone else already tried it, so speak up. What about taking all your left over bait, liquidise it, add some anchovy oil and freeze it in ice cube trays. Put a loop of bio-degradable rope in each cube. Attach that to your sinker. What do you think, will it work? Will it freeze with the oil mixed into it?
