Does anyone have any good tips or hotspots for fishing in the sedgefield area

Check the Garden Roete thread. Theres also a Sedgefield thread.
Watch out for the turds when close to the 'Island'...and dont drink the water, or eat the fish.....it/they may have e-coli in it!!

When did the sewerage spill? Thats nasty! Bovlei is one of my favourite spots to smash the leeries! Some massive fish in there, with the mouth closed they cannot exit the lagoon and average sizes seem to be a lot bigger there.

That is very sad.

Dit is sad ja en is al 'n rukkie. Ek moet wel se, ek het van my beste vis in daai rivier gevang met die mond toe. 'n Mens moet net weet waar... Maar die size van die leeries was wel kleiner met die mond toe. Hulle soek maar die beweging ne!!!

Maar groooooottttt kobbies en baie ook!!! En baie leeries van so 80 to 90cm. Maar Simon jy weet waar om hulle te vang?
