Hi Guys,
some of you maybe know that I´m from Germany and today I have a funny story for you.
Well, a friend of me (David) is fishing for a big pike a lot of years. For this goal he bought a little boat, got a fishing permission for the "Seehamer See" (a big lake near Munich/Bavaria) and read a lot about pike fishing.
Unfortunately his biggest pike was 68cm, and this is not really a specimen
Then, on a cold Oktober-day there was a tournament for juvenile angler and so he took a 13 year old boy with him on his boat and they tried pike-fishing at this day too. Some hours later (they haven´t a bite) the young boy was bored and he tooks line in because he don´t wants to hang in the plants again and again. So, his artifical lure was about 3 meters away from the boat when they drove back.
Then, he "hang" again....... My friend david tried to help the boy with the "hanging lure" when he noticed that there is a fish on the line.
About 45minutes later ........this pike came out of the water
Well, can you imagine the feelings of David? :doh
I hope you enjoyed this little story from far away,
Uwe
