Ok so we discussed the reasons why guys camo their rods and pods and everything else in between ... and what a great response.

Have anyone of you then personalised your gear - you know like names for your rods and reels besides the branded name it comes with......... ?? And what have you used if you personalised them ?

Now I'll never use personalised plates on my cars but am having names printed for my rods ..
Carp / Bass and Barbel Rods. It is actually very unique names in Latin.

If you get to the beach when i am fishing, you would think my name is Shimano, because it is written on all my rods, ha ha ha. ;)

people differ, i would rather use the money to buy more tackle than to put a name on it. same with car plates(more petrol means more places to go).and i think people with a name on there car plates is the good old top gear word,in afr its a hoender haan.

But i guess if you have every thing you will still want to spend some cash, so way not put a name on it?
