Paarl Dam in Winter

Hi all, I'm fishing at Paarl dam on Sunday and I have never gone this far out to fish. (I'm from the Southern Subs and always caught at Princess vlei and Zeekoei vlei)

Any tips, spots or stories about Paarl dam would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I fish for False Bay Freshwater Bank Angling and we are going as a club through tomorrow.

Well, I see how this topic was useless, as everything worked! We had a blast yesterday, made a family day of it and even the kiddies and wives got into the action!

What a beautiful part of the world, pity I had no time to sit and enjoy the view

Yep, fished there once and it was hectic. Very nice venue to take the kids to as you don't have to cast that far at all. And as you said, anything works.
