I bought a 10hp Mariner outboard. After the first use in the ocean, I wanted to flush the water channel. Soon to be discovered that a muffle for a side flush engine cost about R100. My engine`s intake is just above the prop. These mufflers go fo +- R300.
Here is what I did. Bought a suction cup at my local rubber store R20. Had some aluminium plate of a previus project and raided my fathers old hosepipe stash.
Bellow is the final produck. Cost me a whole R20.
