OK gents, tickets will be for sale from tomorrow evening onwards
Rules of the derby is as follows:

Area fished will be from Sunrise Circle in Muizenberg to the "palletjies" (eastern most entrance) of Macassar
Lines in at 06:00 and lines up at 15:00. Scales close at 17:00 SHARP
Sign on and Weigh in at Strandfontein Pavillion
For the guys that want to release their fish and still be elligible for prizes the following additional set of rules:
All anglers to report at Strandfontein Pavillion from 05:00
There I will give you a special ID card
All fish caught and released MUST be photographed with the ID card shown.
Two photos will be required - a full length photo with the ID card and measuring tape and a second photo which is a close up of the ID card and the measurement of the fish.
If you do not submit a photo or show photos which does not conform to the above stipulations, your catch will be disqualified - we will not enter into any debate with anglers that does not follow these guidelines. This is to ensure a fair process of determining a winner at the end of the day.
Although we would like to meet the same amount of prize money than the previous derby, we have decided that the value of the cash prizes will be determined by the number of entries we receive. At the last derby we had just under 190 entries and the first place prize was R3,000. So lets see if we can't equal or better the amount of entries this year
