Ouens as van julle dalk vandag by Gerickes uitkom neem asb pics qas julle hulle daar sien.
Weet hulle het die afgelope 2 dae klomp haaie daar geslag en gister ook blykbaar amper 20 hondhaaie agter Packalsdorp by Herman op die kranse geslag om nie eers te praat van hammers en jong raggies nie.

Jammer maar die ouens moet nou gevang en toegesluit word. Dit is presides dieselfde as veediefstal, née eintlik erger. Hulle gaan alles opvoeter. Haaikos maak van een van hulle sal Dalk help

Die storie is alal jare aan die gang!!! 'n mens moet die koper lat vang en toesluit en ALMAL weet wie hy is!

Dit is eintlik stronT dat mense wat "gesiene" hengelaars is ook al hulle edibles verkoop in die suid kaap! En ja julle weet goed wie julle en hulle is!

Dis 'n ding wat ek wens ons kan stop sit en miskien moet on almal weer cart blance probeer? Kry media en SASC en almal betrokke!!! Maar dan het ek al gehoor watse terugvoer jy kry as jy hulle nader. Dis net toe deure!!!!

On that same okes FB page. Sickening, but hey apparently there was 3 or more okes on the boat so that makes it right. When are the okes going to learn that raping our oceans is not a birth right.

I do not have a problem with okes taking a cob. What I have a problem with is the mindset of these individuals. All of us know at this point that cob are under severe pressure. One fish, ja by all means. 2 fish-nah release the other one. 3-uncalled for. Keep your 60cm fish, release the big boys. Is it legally correct? Yes. Is it morally correct? For me no. But I quess I am only one feeling this way. I suppose the pic with the 6 steenies is also correct. Probably 6 of them fishing. So one a piece...that makes it correct as well.

I only get mad when it is pics of fish like Steenies and Cob that are under pressure. Does not matter to me what the circumstances was around the pics.

i totally see where you coming from, but at the same time if there really were "6 guys" with those steenies then its morally incorrect in your view for them to keep all six, but if they were six strangers fishing the same beach and each caught one is the still immoral????

i always say 1 nice fish per household is enough not per person,

I hear what you are saying Ridhaa, and yes that probably would be a different story. Agree 100% with you on one fish per household.

Who tells you that cob are under severe pressure ?

The DAFF scientists ? 

I suppose you would support a total ban on cob fishing ? Why not ban recreational entirely ? That way the BEE fishing companies can rake in the cob - very convenient. Thats the new Tina Joematt A.N.C  style of fisheries management !
