Orange or Vaal River

Hi All

Been down to the vaal twice now at a place called Oranjeville Holiday Resort. It's not bad but we looking to fish vaal river or orange river.

Can any recommend a nice place to go?

Women friendly of course, bathrooms ect.

Schoemansdrift has some special places. Pick one close to the river if fishing is your main concern.

Go to Aqua Via, it is on the Vaal River, has got hot showers and running toilets. No electricity. Very safe.

Your larger Angling Shops stock a book called Makatoerie. It has a lot of information of most of the Vaal River Venues. I found it very usefull planning weekends etc.
