went fishing at olifantsnek yesterdey mornig. Rods were in at 8:00 , managed to get 8 fish and missed 3. fished one rod at 60m and one at 80m, most fish were caught at 60m. send in a P4 at around 11:00 and just before 12:00 picked up a +- 120g carp

packed up at around 12:30.Fished the 60m rod with TAC and Legend. fished the 80m rod with Dewilsfork and FX. Going again on Sunday

unfortunatly not. had it on my laptop but lost it due to a previously disadvantaged bloke who  thought he needed it more than me

thanks for the report lourens , teh dam holds a lot of big fish .

looks like the water is dropping at the dam.

how did you trip on sunday go.

Fish are still in great condition .

Olifantsnek is one of the few dams that i know of , with great water quality.

it is slowly turning into one of my favourite pap gooi dams

A good specie dam too , i know of a few proteas anglers for test out specimen at sat the dam.

i fish at the angling RHK water and there we are not allowd to use any tipe of boat

had another morning secion today that deliver 9 fish and lost 4 due to snags. fishing at the dam is realy starting to pick up in the last couple of months

That is good to hear that you still gettng fish on a regular basis.
