This is a 5inch starback reel made by Milwards in England.Made from english mahogany with brass fittings.On the front of the spool you will note a button which is called a slater latch which enables you to take the spool off the bracket.This reel runs on a bush and has a rachet as well.Circa 1930's.It still has its original sticker with the model name "Mariner". It is also stamped with the makers name "Milward" and on the foot it is stamped "Made in England"
