Old reels and rods

Howzit guys

I've got a few reels and rods which were my dad's and would like to know what can you do with them, because I don't use it as I got my own tackle.

Its stuff like a penn longbeach 56, penn 49's (with engraving on it, a marlin or something) 2 penn jigmsters and then a few KP's.. and rods like an old purglas rod (cant see the model nr anymore but its a cast master)and then 3 master rods and then a few unknown rods..

If someone have an idea what I can do with it please let me know..

This is only a suggestion......

Keep your eyes on the forum, every now & again a thread comes around where someone is looking for rods & reels for a worthy cause. 

As an example, a member here called Rods, from your neck of the woods is doing a school project where he takes kids fishing.

End last year myself was involved in a project where we took 40 under privileged kids fishing.

In this week we had a Cape Town member who's tackle was stolen.

It's the Sealine way to give, and believe me, it always leaves you with a very satisfied feeling.

If u want to donate we have 1 kid that u can maybe sponser a rod & reel? Special thanx to PSY & SERRA MOZ for the donations they gave to the other one of the 2 kids. He went mal!!! Sal nog pics post. Easter weekend we are planning a trip then u wil c the kid perform. LOL Sorry For the HI Jack!!!

Don't think u should sell it as it have some sentimental value to either yourself or your dad. Like above already mentioned , donate to a worthy cause if anything comes up.

You heard a few options what you can do with it, at the end it's YOUR decision.

Whatever you choose I'm sure you going to make someone very happy.
