Nope it was NIPPS...a Zimbabwian lure company...seems the fell of the earth early 2000's. They had kolletjies amost like mepps on their blades, so they went for almost the same name?

Find attached pic of anoher bass caught on that lure...

They really had some good quality stuff,... donnerse Mugabe!

I learnt how to troll Albert Falls in tournaments from Mickey, by just watching him, he is a master at it.  We got a fifth overall that year.

Shame he is such a large peace of meat though, it really does do no justice to the bass he is holding up...if my memory serves me correct that fish weighed 2,7 kilos...
