Has a good sound system onboard. Not so sure about the music taste of the skipper tho - last heard some dodgy tunes coming from her.
Hahahaha, lucky its not a bruino's boat. All you will hear is gangster rap.

Magnum 28 walkarounds - my next boat. Made by Two Oceans Marine. Simply awesome.
Absolutely!

BUT, I would still buy a Citation in that class of boat!
Citation is my dream boat. There is one here at FBYC. AWESOME!
Ok thats strange i though the butt cat guyz where die hard butt catt guyz i just cant fathem are the fuss aboat the Citation is nice boat but are you saying you'll choose it over lets say 33" butt.I'd love to know why ?.Im no expert on boats thats why id like you here from the pro's who walked the walk.

Up to a certain size, cats rule, over about 28ft, monos come back into their own. Have a look how many of the top sportfishers are cats! Almost all are monos, and for a reason.

You need to see this hull running. Not in a flat sea but when the sea stands up. Put it this way, I would rather be running for home in a 28' Citation than a 33' Buttcat if a Buster surprises us. The way this boat rides is fanominal.

Anything under 28' and I would be back to Cat configuration.
But that's my opinion.

I would take the big mono over a big catt, butt or G and I have fished and more importantly skippered the big cats and monos, the likes of the rodmans, bertrams and a few others.
Why?
After being at the helm of boats as a qualified skipper for the past 24 years I believe it's not about what anyone else thinks, feels or says, other than what the skipper/owner is comfortable with. Each skipper is different. Some would say no way, a big cat. It really is a case of what YOU prefer, for me there's no pros or cons, just personal preference. I've skippered them all and all in horrid seas but for me a big mono is where it is at.

I would not want a Ferrari if you gave me one. It does nothing for me but I'd love and old pimped out Studebaker.

In all honesty I would trade my butt for a 28ft Cape craft tomorrow if I had the cash. There's just something about running on a mono that feels right... In fact I'd love my little 14'6 Ace back too...

Fished quite a bit on a Magnum 28..very nice boat but bangs quite a bit in a bad sea and struggles a bit in a beam sea. Great in a following sea. Look it all depends in what conditions you are prepard to go fishing in. In most normal, decent fishing seas the Magnum 28's are superb vessels.

Have done a few trips in some older tuna V's. "Lady Ella" the Van Bondes boat from Hout Bay comes to mind. AWESOME!
