Off to mozambique tomorrow !!

Hi Guys

Me and my dad are goin up to mozams tomorrow for a week.

We have been there every other time of the year but never July/August.

We dont have any real gameplan yet...

Any Idea's on where a good location would be for this time of year ?

I see there is some solid swell running,so hopefully find a nice easy launch with a small shorebreak,We are just 2 guys to drop off,turn and launch a 16ft cat.

We are gonna be Spearfishing & fishing.

Anybody been to Bilene lately ?Is the mouth open ?how is the launch ?

We wont be goin further up than say Barra/Inhambane...

Any Idea's ?Advice on a good location and accomodation would be appreciated

Lucky bugger!... Bilene seems to still be open. A mate of mine was there recently but fished only off the beach. He said a few boats went through.

Just be very sharp going through the moth though. A few years ago, I watched some total clown stuff it up. It seems it gets deep very quickly off that beach so the wavelength is very short. Just keep a cool head and don't go out if it looks dodgy.

Otherwise, Chidenguele area is good fishing. I have never launched there though. It's not too far from Xai-Xai.
