Where did you get the straps?
Got the strapping material and plastick clips at a fabrick shop here in the Strand. Took it to a local shoorepair shop and the guy makes me 20 pairs a week. Works out at R40 a set labour and material.

Hi sailfish. I noted that you have some 20 pairs of straps made up for you per week. Does that mean you build them to sell your boxes??? Do you, and if so what is your price? I'm like some of the others, all thumbs and totally inept when it comes to technical stuff. I can't even understand your sketches for the box! ha ha

I heard there is a guy in PE making some nice ones where you can securely attach to rods on the sides, however i am looking for one with a wooden box insert

;)

Yeap, theres a boy making them in PE and also in Slaapstad.

Probably in Durban Pretoria and Sasolburg too!

Look for Maasbanker here on SL and send him a PM, he has nice frames that wont 'snap' on you.

As far as the wooden box insert - you can very well do that yourself,.... I see you drive a bakkie!
