Shore angling was the order of the day for 4 of our 6 days out there, due to extreme rough seas. Very happy I could stay on another day and a half, it made all the difference.

Wolf Herring made a serious nuisance of themselves from shore and in some inshore areas off the boats.

Launching the boats on Sunday morning, an unexpected an welcome surprise, the forecast was gale force winds, proving the skippers right when they kept repeating that we shouldn't worry too much about the forecast in this area.

Action! Vicious, spectacular boat side attacks were common. That was the closest this one came to the deck.

Shore fishing again :? at times the shad were thick and we'd hook up cast for cast with 3 - 5kg fish.
