Nice vaal river places?

Want to go for a weekend at the vaal for some carp and cats at night and yellows on fly during the day? Any suggestions where?

Goose bay's rondawel is allreday booked for that weekend.

Otters haunt looks nice...

Yellow fish paradise looks okay, nothing fancy...

Any other places?

Yellowfish paradise is good for flyfishing not for bank angling as the water is very shallow there. You will get alot of snags.
