That's a 20/0 hook so if it was an Elf it would be around 10kg

Lekker bait Christ. Ever tried Cable tie through the lips and hooking the hook through the tie loop?

I don’t think it was an elf head as I only had kob heads in the freezer and have not caught an elf for about a lifetime.

I did not get a picup on this particular head but was rather burned off by the swells that day. Managed to get this baby the week before at gamtoos exactly the same way but only used a bigger kob head.
