nice kob in false bay

:wfishnice kob caught at strandfontein on wednesday eve 4 of about 6 to 8kg just to right of the pool. funny how most people give up so quickly.most of the guys were fishing with blood worm and were there before we got there but when it got dark they left and we caught the fish just as the sun dissapeared on chokka there was no wind to talk about a light southerly on dropping tide unfortunately it was dark so no pics available

I was at Palletjies yesterday morning early, around 4,30am. No fish but a few small bites. I did see some guys cleaning some good sized fish between Palletjies and Broken Road but I think they were caught earlier the previous evening. Have the fish been more active going into night or just before sunrise?

hi baldrick

we very seldom catch our  kob during the day.. just before sunrise is a good time or we normally target them just before sunrise or during the evening. when i fish for kob during the day i normally (when i can) go to betty's bay, just my choice/preference...
