Newcomer / Restarter

Hi Guys,
I am what they would call a re-starter.

I fished professionally as a Junior about 25 odd years ago while I was still living in the Western Cape.

A couple of weeks ago I decided to give it a go again and join a club.

Got most of the the necessities.

Rods/Reels:

12 Ft Carp Killer + Okuma Chaser AX 80
12 Ft Max Rod + Max Reel Free Runner 6000

Line:

XX Advanced Co Polymer / High Abrasion 7lbs + XX Brown Chameleon Monofilament Leader (Believe the allowed length is still 2 x Rod?)

Going to Biermans this weekend.  Is there any thing else you guys think I would need?  Any tips and comments on my gear would be much appreciated.

Not sure if the rods/reels I have is any good.
